Overview

1. Research on the rapid identification of pathogenic bacteria in sepsis
We identify bacterial species using DNA sequencers after 16S rDNA amplification with ultra-high-speed real-time PCR systems, and examine the sensitivity and specificity of blood culture results.
2. Research on the pathology of the central nervous system through MRI-based analysis
We perform imaging analysis of central nervous system diseases using susceptibility-weighted images obtained by 2.0 T MRI.
3. Research on the usefulness of amplitude-integrated EEG (a-EEG) for neurointensive care
We examine the usefulness of a-EEG to evaluate the effectiveness of antiepileptics for patients with convulsive status epilepticus and monitor convulsion after cardiopulmonary arrests
4. Research on the prognosis of the central nervous system through frequency analysis of heart rate variability
We perform frequency analysis of heart rate variability as part of autonomic function evaluation for patients with cerebrovascular disease and head injury, as well as those suffering cardiopulmonary arrests.
