Overview

One of my major research interest is lung pathology, especially of the pulmonary asbestosis and pulmonary arterial hypertension sequelae to interstitial pneumonia. Another one is contribution of air-pollutant particles to the pathogenesis of asthma. Our data indicated exposure to air-pollution during pregnancy increased a risk of developing asthma in not only their children, but also grandchildren (the next generation), and this over-generation transmission of asthma risk was probably associated with the epigenetics mechanism(s).
