Overview

Auto bone graft and allograft are usually used to repair the defect during revision arthroplasty or after resection of tumor. However, there is limitation of collecting autogenous bone and shortage of strut allograft bone. There is no medical insurance for collecting, preserving and supplying. However, several artificial bones have been developed, but  their strength is less than that of allograft bone. We investigate developing of regenerative bone with culture of mesenchymal stem cells, osteoblastic cell sheets, and new artificial bone collaborating with technology science.
