Human Development

Junzo Iida(Professor)

Our main research areas are child and adolescent psychiatry and developmental disorders. Concretely, we conduct clinical research on diseases, such as childhood- and adolescent-onset schizophrenia, ARMS as its prodromal stage, childhood- and adolescent-onset obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, and autism spectrum disorders, in addition to studies to examine their pathology using event-related potentials and NIRS. We also conduct research on training for the parents of children with developmental disorders and social skills training for the latter.
