Overview

Our department is dedicated to ensuring the safe and compliant conduct of recombinant DNA research. Through the stewardship of shared core research facilities and the provision of technical expertise, we support the continued advancement of the university's research infrastructure.

Our research seeks to elucidate the molecular and cellular mechanisms governing brain development using recombinant DNA technologies. We also investigate the pathogenesis of neurological disorders, including neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental diseases, with the ultimate goal of translating these discoveries into innovative therapeutic strategies.
