This department aims to help students to learn about the role of the skin as an immune organ and develop an understanding of the pathological condition of major allergic skin diseases. They are expected to enhance their understanding of the following items through lectures and research activities:
1. Highly functional skin immunity
2. Pathological condition of atopic and contact dermatitis
3. Relationships between allergic skin diseases and microorganisms
