We conduct a translational research based on case-oriented and disease-oriented research in the field of diabetes and endocrinology. We aim to clarify the pathophysiology of diabetes and endocrine diseases and to give back to the patients. We have found several new diseases including anti-PIT-1 hypophysitis and clarified its pathophysiology.

We are working on analyzing the mechanisms and pathophysiology of diabetes and endocrine diseases especially pituitary and adrenal diseases using multifaceted approach including big data, molecular biology, and iPS cells.
