Specialized Subjects

In our graduate school, students are expected to obtain specialized knowledge, master experimental techniques, and develop detailed and realistic plans to conduct experiments and collect clinical data under the guidance of staff members engaged in research on concrete themes. We also help them develop abilities to objectively analyze and appropriately present research outcomes, as well as write research papers as the first author. Furthermore, they will actively participate in joint research projects with other facilities or in other fields to develop broader perspectives by coming in touch with multifaceted knowledge and views.
Main research themes:
1. Pathology and treatment of cirrhosis (ascites, esophageal or gastric varices, hepatorenal syndrome)
2. Endotoxin, coagulation, and organopathy
