Overview

Our clinical activity is providing surgical interventions and follow-up for patients including neonates, infants, and adults with congenital heart disease which is structural heart problem at birth. Our research activity is development of surgical methods and peri-operative care by reviewing our clinical data for achieving even better surgical outcomes. For educational purpose, we have regular seminars on congenital cardiac morphology. Also, Professor Uemura is in charge of teaching medical English to the college students on the basis of his career as a Consultant Surgeon in the UK.
