 In this department, the digestive system and metabolic disease are studied in a broad range of domains, focusing on direct clinical contribution, rather than experiments for basic analysis. Aiming to establish new treatment methods by clarifying pathophysiology, our staff members are engaged in diverse studies on genetics, regenerative medicine, immunity, and metabolism abnormalities, and publish a large number of research papers mainly in high-level domestic and international journals.
